Afya X connects buyers to trusted suppliers of healthcare products across Kenya and  beyond. Whether you're a health facility, NGO, retail pharmacy, or individual buyer, Afya X gives you convenient access to quality medical supplies at competitive prices.

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for becoming a verified buyer on the Afya X platform.

Who Can Register as a Buyer?

You can apply to be a buyer if you are:

• A licensed pharmacy, clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility
• A medical professional or procurement officer representing a healthcare institution
• A government agency, or health-focused organization
• A licensed individual buyer seeking access to verified medical products

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Access the Afya X Mobile App

At the top navigation click on the button 'START BUYING' and you'll be taken to the Afya X mobile app.

Step 2: Fill in and Submit Your Business Details

On the start page click on the Sign Up button where you'll be taken to the first step to fill the details below:

Business Details:

• Business Name
• Business Telephone Number
• Address1
• Address 2 (optional)*
• Postal Code (optional)*
• Select your Customer Type (Clinic/Hospital/Pharmacy)
• Agency Code (Code of onboarding Agent if available) (optional)*
• Select the Business Ownership (Partnership, Private, Sole Proprietorship etc.)
• Business Registration / Certificate of Incorporation Number
• Name of Superintendent (Primary licensed health officer part of running the business)
• PPB Facility Registration Number
• PPB License Number
• Superintendent Practice License Number (License number of the health officer)
• Select Country (Default Kenya)
• Select County
• Select Territory
• Upload all the essential legal documents (PPB License,  Business Registration etc.)

Press "Next" to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Business Location

• Enter your business location details or select location from the Map.

Press "Next" to proceed to the final step

Step 4: Enter User Details

Enter the details below of the initial/primary user:

• User Name
• Password
• Confirm Password
• Contact Name
• Phone Number
• Email Address

Accept the terms & conditions of use and finally press "Register".

Step 5: Account Review & Verification

Our onboarding team will review your application and documents. This process takes 1 - 2 business days.

Step 6: Get Access to the Afya X App

Once approved, you'll receive an email with login credentials to the Afya X mobile app.

• Browse a wide range of verified healthcare products
• Compare prices and suppliers
• Place and track orders
• Access support using your customer code
• Create a funding wallet to pay for orders
