How to Appy to Be a Seller on AfyaX

Overview

Welcome to Afya X! If you are a supplier of healthcare products and want to reach a wide range of buyers across Kenya and beyond, joining Afya X as a seller is the perfect opportunity.

This guide walks you through the steps required to register as a verified supplier and start selling through the Afya X platform using the Mio Portal.


Eligibility Requirements

Before you apply, ensure you meet the following:

  • A registered business entity (with a valid KRA PIN and certificate of registration)
  • Valid PPB Registration Number and License Number
  • An Active PPB License Status
  • A valid business email and phone number
  • Ability to fulfill and deliver order on time
  • Willingness to link to the Afya X Wallet via Loop


Step-by-Step Application Process

Step1 : Visit the Supplier Registration Page

At the top navigation click on the button "START SELLING" where you'll be taken to a seller application page.

Step 2: Fill in and Submit Your Business Details

Provide your:

  • Business Name
  • Business Email Address
  • Business Phone Number
  • Select Your Business Type (Wholesaler/Manufacturer)
  • PPB Facility Registration Number
  • PPB License Number
  • Primary Contact Person's Full Name
  • Contact Person Designation / Role
  • Contact Person Email Address
  • Contact Person Phone Number

Step 3: Wait for the first Verification

Our onboarding team will review your application within 1 - 2 business days. Once approved you'll receive an email with a customised link to a form page to fill and submit the following final details:

  • Name of Licensed Health Professional within the company
  • License Number of Health Professional within the company
  • Select the Type of Legal Ownership (Private, LLC etc.)
  • Select the Transaction Type For Receiving Payments
  • Business Address
  • Select the County of Main Branch or HQ
  • Select the Territory of Main Branch or HQ
  • Select Location By Scrolling and Clicking on the Map (Optional)

Step 4: Wait for final verification

Our onboarding team will review your application within 1 - 2 business days. You'll receive an email with confirmation of verification and approval.

Step 5: Create Your Mio Admin Account

Once approved, you'll receive access to the Mio Admin Platform where you can upload products and manage your store.

Step 6: Link Your Loop Account

You'll be able to create a wallet within the Mio Admin Platform powered by Loop.


What Happens After Approval?

  • You will receive access credentials to the Mio Admin Platform
  • A dedicated Afya X onboarding specialist will assist you with setup
  • Your profile will be visible to buyers once products are uploaded and verified
